Justine Henin-Hardenne article

Hi! I started editing the article already, paying special attention to the phrases you mentioned. In any case, the article is lacking any citation that despite her petite stature, she is still able to compete, even dominate, the other women in the circuit. And being so, she is an exception to the generalization that possessing height (as brought about by the Williams sisters, Sharapova, Davenport, etc.) is the norm in the sport. So in a way, she is like Martina Hingis (although in her case, she relies more on tactics and guile)--what she lacks in height, she makes up for in speed, fitness and movement. Unfortunately, that commitment took a toll on her body--the injuries sustained over the last two years, not to mention the fact that almost always, she has to re-evaluate her playing schedule now, preferring the quality of her performances over the quantity of tournaments entered. What I am saying here is that I would love to see such an insight/section in her article (much like devoting to her playing style and how it influenced the game), which currently just deals with accounts of her yearly performances. Well, in comparison to Amanda Coetzer, the power tennis was still developing during her time. Hingis was still the dominant player, while the Williams sisters are still novices in the tour--not to mention the fact that Seles, widely regarded as the first power tennis player, is almost always being beaten by the likes of Hingis. What sets Henin-Hardenne apart is not just her game but the current direction of women's tennis. Notably, when she ranking began to improve and when she won her first Grand Slam, the ones dominating were the Williams sisters, Davenport and Capriati. As a matter of fact, someone mentioned that she contributed partly in inspiring Hingis to come back. If a player her size can still play and win matches, maybe Hingis can too. In any case, I realized that most of the references from where I got these are comments made during matches and by show anchors. In any case, it's a good start looking at some tennis editorial websites:

D. Hasek

Thanks for helping out with this Hasek article...I came across it last night and it drove me crazy. He means good, but he just has way too much POV and lack of grasp of the English language to create an article on his favorite player. I removed the part about McMullen "winning his second cup" in 2004. The image you provided shows his name on the cup for their win in 2000. I never disputed that. I doubt they put his name on the cup after he sold the team, but if you have proof, you're more than welcome to add it again. --Muéro 18:19, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Christina Aguilera

Periods and punctuation marks should only be included inside double quotation marks if they are part of the original quotation (or song title). NHL Player Pics

I am changing them because now that training camp mugshots have been released, the old photos are now out of date, especially the ones showing players in jerseys of teams they are no longer associated with. Since the NHLPA and NHL haven't updated their site yet, the only sources I can use is the team's websites, which crop them differently. As long as they're hi-res and fill the box I used them, but for other teams such as the Thrashers and the Red Wings, who have released their images on their site but are not in a suitable resolution, I need to wait. --Stukov 02:31, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, I think your problem is that your browser's cache needs to be refreshed. I've replaced the player photos with new ones, perhaps your browser is just reading the old ones in your cache. --Stukov 02:34, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Citation Tag

The cite tag on the neutral milk hotel article is a bit silly deary. A lot of the stuff in the article is just knowledge which gets picked up after a very long time studying the background of the band and elephant 6 / athens. Theres no place really where this can all be picked up, especially not the internet. Wikicite

Thanks for the suggestion Muéro. I've put the version number under the help tab programmatically so it will be easy to check which version you have form now on. I've also put the latest version number on my user page so there is something to check against. Wikicite is pretty stable now. I don't anticipate any major changes unless someone points out a bug.
